THANKSGIVING REMINDERS

Ephesians 5:20
“Giving thanks always for all things unto God…”

I Thessalonians 5:18
“In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

Colossians 3:17
“And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.”

Psalm 95:2
“Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.”

How should Christians be thankful?

1. Continually- Hebrews 13:15

-“By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.”

2. In everything- I Thessalonians 5:18

-“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

3. Always for all things- Ephesians 5:20

-“Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

4. In the midst of many- Psalm 109:30; 105:1

-“I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.”

5. In church- Psalm 100:4

-“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.”

6. Among the people- Psalm 57:9

-“I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: I will sing unto thee among the nations.”
